I’m an NYC based dad navigating the chaotic, wonderful world of raising two energetic boys alongside my amazing wife. While I am keeping my exact location and our names a bit vague to protect my family’s privacy, I can promise you that the stories, the DIY tech projects, and the inevitable dad jokes you’ll find here are 100% authentic.

My life currently revolves around three main pillars: parenting, a strong marriage partnership, and a serious love for all things tech.

When my wife and I decided I would step into the role of a full-time stay-at-home dad, we essentially flipped the traditional script. She has an incredible career that she absolutely rocks, and her hard work and support allow me to hold down the fort and be present for our boys every single day. We approach everything as a team, and that true partnership is the foundation of our family.

Being a “geek dad” means I didn’t check my hobbies at the door when I had kids; I just found ways to bring my boys into them. My days are a mix of dodging painfully sharp Legos and marbles on the living room floor and figuring out how to build cool DIY electronics and retro gaming consoles that my sons will love. I am constantly looking for ways to combine my passion for gadgets with everyday fatherhood, bringing a fun tech-slant to my parenting.

However, I also know that raising kids in the digital age requires a lot of balance. My wife and I partner closely to manage our household’s screen time, ensuring that technology is used as a tool to bring our family together rather than something that isolates us. Whether we are playing classic video games on the couch or I am testing out a new home server, I try to use tech as a means of genuine connection.

Through this blog, I want to share the high-tech gadgets that actually make a parent’s life easier, the DIY builds that will make you a hero to your kids, and the honest, everyday realities of being a stay-at-home dad. Balancing work, play, parenting, and even fitness ain’t easy but hopefully some of these stories can help or even inspire you to try some new ideas out in your dadhood journey!
